One crazy adventure

hey! i'm in calgary now. weather here is great. took the bus down to calgary yesterday. the journey was about 1 and a half hour long. was stuck at the bus depot for the next hour cos i was waiting for a free shuttle service that never came. it was so weird cos they didnt have a schedule and we were told that the bus driver will only drive whenever he feels like it. wth! luckily i met this canadian guy (who lives in spore) and vietnamese lady who showed me the way to downtown.

reached the hostel around 2pm. found out that my roommate was from australia and she was travelling alone too! so we hung together. it was so funny cos it so happen that the 2 of us are new to photography and we were trying to figure out how to use the functions in our cameras.
we went to the calgary tower this morning, where we got to see the view of the rockie mountains. it was beautiful! bumped into a singaporean business man there. he was travelling alone so we asked him to join us to go to chinook centre, which is a very big mall.

been meeting lots of nice people along the way. there are a lot of people here in the hostel who are actually travelling alone. i was talking to this taiwanese guy, and i realised that my chinese is still not that bad hahaha! and there is this other french guy who always offer to lend me his laptop. the stupid hostel charges for internet services. but there are also a lot of weird people in downtown calgary. i was so freaked out when i was walking alone yesterday. people will just come up to talk to you or even ask for money. but dont worry i'm safe haha.
